Multicultural Ministries
St Paul's is blessed to have many people from many backgrounds attending our congregation. We are very thankful to God for His amazing work in this area.
In 2006 our multicultural ministry expanded. We had an African Inland Mission Minister join the staff team and an African Anglican Deacon join the church and initiate and lead the Dinka (Sudanese) service.
Dinka Language Church Service.
This exciting service started in 2006 and all people are welcome to attend. It meets 12.30pm each Sunday at St Paul's. The service in predominately in Dinka language with a translator translating the sermon into English.
Dinka Language School.
In 2007 two language classes started at St Pauls. Every Saturday morning at 10am Dinka Language is taught. There is a beginners class and an advanced class. Both are taught by native Dinka speakers and all people are welcome to become students and take advantage of this great life opportunity.
The Christian Resource Centre.
Another venture is the establishment of the Resource Centre. It has a library with books on many topics from Theology to sewing to Australian History. It also has computers and sewing machines. It has information on correspondence Theology Courses. People can access the Centre Mon - Fri Mornings.
General Support and Driving Support
St Paul's is also offering support to a number of refugees in a number of ways including: resettlement, study support, and learning to drive. We do need more people to help in all three areas.
